| On the land and on the sea 2006, Dimensions variable (ship 95 cm x 85 cm x 33 cm, 'pool' 77 cm x 120 cm x 77 cm. Birch plywood, acrylate, water, sand, plastic trees, iron, bronze, ballbearings, axel, motor and wires. Inside the ship there is a rotating disc with a weight on it and this is causing the ship to rock back and forth. In ship there is also a switch which is controlling the movements of the pool. In the pool there is water and a floating island which is circulating a stabile mountain. There is also some vulcanic sand which is following the island. In a way the pool is following the ship's movement. Under the pool there is a pendulum which is restricting the pool's movements. |
| Maalla ja merellä 2006, koko vaihtelee (laiva 95 cm x 85 cm x 33 cm, 'allas' 77 cm x 120 cm x 77 cm, koivuvaneri, akrylaattimuovi, vesi, tuliperäinen hiekka, muovipuu, satamasta kerätyt rautapalat, laakerit, akselitangot, moottorit, sähköjohdot ja pronssi. Teoksessa laiva laineilee puolelta toiselle painon viemänä ja antaa vuorotellen virtaa maljan alla oleville moottoreille, joiden painot liikkuessaan saavat maljan veden joko pyörimään tai lainehtimaan, jolloin maljassa oleva kelluva saari kiertää keskellä olevaa vuorta, sekä saa hienorakeisen tuliperäisen hiekan maljassa seuraamaan saaren liikkeitä. |
